FireFox 0xC0000005 Application failed

I'm running Win XP3 When I try to start firefox 49 or any version I get this notice " The application failed
to initialize properly (0XC0000005)

But I can run windows in the safe mode and it works fine.

Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

I don't know 'what-all' services etc. are blocked from starting up in safe-mode... but one process that surely is not started is your AV software... so, you may want to look into that... and what product do you use?

Just for kicks... try Firefox Portable to see what happens.... it may indicate something... not sure what that would be though....

I tried the portable all that happens the heading box shows up and then goes off

Hmmm.... I'd say that either have hardware issues... or, maybe malware... so...

These are FREE ... you install them and just run them from time to time.

I ran all 3 of those programs and I found some unwanted material but fire fox still doesn't work.I also IE 6.0 and Google Chrome, Maxthon and they don't open either. but they all run in safe mode.
