Is there a good alternative to the Readability bookmarklet?
The bookmarklet would convert any web page into an easily readable version.

This is the best one I have found: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... g/?src=api
I only found and tried two, the other one being a bookmarklet which I did not like at all: http://readable.tastefulwords.com/?setup .

I'm trying to get away from extensions since I don't know how long they will be available.
Thanks. I like the Readable bookmarklet more than the Clippable bookmarklet.

Clippable is probably better, but there's also still the original Readability from a few years back: https://code.google.com/archive/p/arc90 ... adability/

Re: Readability Bookmarklet
I have found the FF Reader mode (click the book on the right side of the URL bar) does a very good job. I have become more happy with it than when it first came out. Nothing can ever touch Clearly, but FF Reader mode comes close enough.
Also, if you have an Evernote account, you can click on the Evernote extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... src=search) and have it make the Simplified Article option, which does what Clearly and Reader do.
And, of course, since you want to stay away from extensions, it fits the bill.

@Frenzie
Thanks. I found a GitHub page with the last version so I can use the bookmarklet.

Thanks. I forgot about the Reader View feature. I had to enable it again.
