How do you sync Android with Outlook without Outlook.com?

Post by DannyJokk »

Hey guys!
Struggling to find a way to sync Outlook contacts, notes and calendar events with my Galaxy S7. The problem is that I don't want to use MS servers to store my data.
I've tried Smart Switch but it works when it wants, not when I need it. Already tried one 3-rd party solution that generated tons of duplicated contacts in my phone's contacts app.
Switched to Akruto but not really happy with that there's no USB syncing. Is there any workaround to sync PC running Outlook with Android device via USB cable?
Thanks!

Thanks for your advice.
I've tried using this software but end up deleting duplicate contacts from my smartphone. Not sure why this software worked for me this way as I've seen lots of positive reviews over the Internet before trying it.
Right now I'm still using this Akruto software and it does exactly what it was made for. Here are their video instructions in case somebody would have similar problems: http://www.akruto.com/best-ways-to-sync ... t-outlook/

Maybe you can check out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CardDAV. You can also sync your calendar with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CardDAV.
