Configure default stock (paper size) in zebra printer

Post by jesuscampos »

Hi,

It's possible to configure the default stock (paper size) in zebra printer? When I set one, it does not save on preferences and it does not get the default stock of the printer.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Sounds more like a Zebra Printer problem than a Firefox one.
Have you asked at the relevant site for your model of printer?
Do they have a forum that offers assistance?

The wiki below with the programming language might give you some hints, if it doesn't maybe the other two links will help.

The default sotck is available in all apps (offfice, other browsers, etc) just not load it on firefox. Seems that firefox is ignoring the default paper size in printer...

If your printer is supported by your operating system there shouldn't be any recognition issues.
in about:config you could check the following two items and see if your printer is listed?
print_printer - this should be the name of the printer as it is recognized by your system.
print.printer_list - if you have more than one printer you use there may be a list in this item.

If you haven't opened about:config before:
Type about:config in the nav text block
Accept the be careful warning.
place either of the two items in the search text input at the top of the page or just the word print.
You could also look to see what a search for paper does in about:config and see what's there.
Each system may be a little different.
