Can i move html filie from ff proflie into Opera ?
Hi
Can I move an HTML file from the ff profile into another browser?
I want to move this file into newest version Opera 64 Bit
Because Mozilla has a manual backup system of ff bookmarks and other settings.
I'm using the newest version of Windows 10 Pro

Maybe ask an Opera forum? I would imagine it has some sort of bookmark import feature most browsers do.
What sort of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.

Moving this to the Tech. forum, as it's not a Firefox problem...

You might see if Opera has an import from another browser as Firefox has or possibly a simple import function.
Best bet would be to query an Opera forum.

You all misunderstand me all I'm asking if there still is a bookmark file in ff that contain all my bookmarks I can move into Opera because it used to be like with the ff profile?
Because it is possible with this in the new Opera.
There is not very good backup in Firefox you have to do everything manually

I think if you go into the Library & select "Import & Backup" > Export Bookmarks to html,
that you might be able to Import them into Opera.
As I don't use Opera, can't say if Opera will be able to Import the html file.

If the same file extension for bookmarks is used in Opera as in Firefox you might try to copy the bookmarks from Firefox into the Opera bookmarks folder.
Opening your bookmarks management in Opera look for an import from other browser or a restore button which may allow the change.
Key word here is "Import" or some variation of the same mechanic.

Opera doesn't seem to want to recognize the HTML file.

I can't see why it won't recognize the HTML file.
