Video Downloading Extension - Not downloading

[eager to learn]

I successfully downloaded the zipped, file, extracted it and installed it.

I then copied the youtube url into it and clicked the Add button but on the bottom it just displays 0% downloaded (after choosing the folder for it to be downloaded to)

It never shows 100% downloaded or Completed.

I think the broken link is just the windows installer link.

IMO a gui utility that requires python is more for advanced users.

The following command line utility doesn't require python.

You only need to know how to use the command prompt window.

(Windows version is "self-contained".

It's [relatively] old. YT changes a lot. Often programs need to keep up with those changes in order to work.

At first, it looked like it was not going to work, 0%, but then [after hitting start/stop a number of times], the [one] clip started coming down.

And actually, it uses youtube-dl to do its' work (but that too must be dated).
