Hello,
changing from Win7 to win10 yesterday on 5 PCs in a office, seamonkey is very slow when calling URL in intranet (Intranet, not Internet! local!). Browser "clock" symbol running for 1-2 seconds, then a simple website (intranet-app) appears. Same with other browsers, FF for example. Access via tunnel through internet to the office's webserver with my linux PC's browser: website appears immediately, no delay. Thats the proof: Win10 delays! Obviously a known Win10-feature. There are long lists what to tune in Win10, e.g. https://www.techjunkie.com/slow-internet-windows-10/ Somebody here can help me what to tweek in Win10 for fast browser access to intranet (local! intranet, not internet!) access? tia Eckard @6.11.: seems to be only a problem of that Win10 installation, a Win10-Install of my works fine. Maybe virus-software causes it. Last edited by EckardG on November 6th, 2020, 5:49 am, edited 1 time in total.
![]() Moving to MozillaZine Tech as all browsers are reported to be effected.
what version of Win10 are you using, EckardG?
type winver.exe in the Run dialog box to determine the specific Win10 version and edition
I'm remote, I can't access the PCs any time. But I get winversion output next days somewhen. Your idea with win-version is good. My win10-machine worlks fine with my customers webserver in LAN, after I made a ssh-tunnel over internet. See my @6.11.: in OP. Not sure this is an answer. I found that Edge slows down SeaMonkey.

What does that mean? What indicates that Edge is having any impact on SeaMonkey performance?
