For a number of years I've used a bookmarked Google url instead of the google search in Firefox.
As mentioned in a number of posts by a myriad of posters the google search engine no longer exists from various source.
Add-ons for Mozilla show a load of extensions but the list is confusing.
My settings with Firefox have not changed:
Using custom blocking all cookies in all windows with the list having all items checked.
Now when I hit the bookmark https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl the page elements no longer work.
The section People also ask, the controls Tools and Settings do not function.
Example page: Growing basil indoors
To me this indicates a change in Google or something Firefox is blocking,
Changing the settings to Strict allows the tools to function
Doesn't matter what you say, it's wrong for a toaster to walk around the house and talk to you
