Forcing black BG color in Options, Private Browsing, Addons

Hi

I have a very painful problem and I hope someone can help.

I am using High Contrast theme in Windows 7, where I use black background color and yellow text. Firefox adapted these settings for a long time but then something suddenly happened - (I was foolish enough to reset Internet Explorer settings and I think it did reset the Color Settings, as well) - and now whenever I open Options windows, Addons window or Private Browsing window, the background color is purely white color. It kills my eyes.

How do I force Firefox to use Black color on these pages?

The rest of the pages seem to be working.

You can try using a Theme like Nasa Night Launch that is already black. The newer Mozilla design folks don't really seem to care about supporting such cases.

EDIT: I know, I'm probably asking too much, but is it possible to force the background color of the address bar to be black as well? When I start typing a URL, the background of the address bar becomes white.

One of the "subskins" listed on the first page of his support thread might do it?

I tried asking in that topic, but no reply. I just need to blacken the background of address bar (when you start typing). And some times the "remember password" popup.

Lots of stuff in there but I suggest that you create a test profile to play with...

And,.... DON'T TOUCH THAT "Choose Folder..." BUTTON! ... unless you fully know all about it.

But you basically mentioned that all was well until you reset some stuff in Windows... more detail about that might help with this... maybe we/somebody can undo it ???
