I see is a difficult point
I was consuming 850 MB entering opening about 25 tabs.
As you tell me trolly that may be possible ?
I reduce to 650 MB updating plugins (java and flash...)
And my best idea was use OneTab
Now the ram memory for firefox is about 290 MB
Do you think can i do something else to reduce ram memory ?

Well, I have over 600 tabs (only about 20 loaded) and have a memory usage of about 1.6 GB.
Going below 250 MB seems to be impossible to me because a Firefox instance with no addons and no tabs requires about that amount of memory.
Your values look quite normal to me.

The more important question is: Why do you want to reduce the amount of used memory? Do you have a low end system with only one or two GB of RAM?
Any other causes?
Usually everything below 1 GB for (32 bit Windows and 2 GB for 64 bit Windows) is uncritical and memory management is best left to the OS.
A 32 bit Firefox can use up to 3 GB when used under 64 bit Windows and 2 GB when used under 32 Bit Windows before getting into trouble.
A 64 bit Firefox has "unlimited" memory access.

Use the 32-bit version of FF instead of 64-bit.

Likewise, why?
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Though I'd expect FF x64 to use more memory.

I would think that another question would be ... what else is using memory besides Firefox...
I was consuming 850 MB entering opening about 25 tabs.
So you have other stuff in there that eats up 80+ percent of total mem? ...that is, to get an out of mem situation? ... if that is the case and you want to still operate as you have... add more memory... if the box will take it.l

A suggestion from my work place: If you need VMs install as much memory as possible.

Win64 Firefox has existed for Release since 42.0. Note the Win64 Firefox only has 64-bit Flash Player and Silverlight Plugins white listed to run. If you need other Plugins with Firefox on Windows then use 32-bit Firefox and 32-bit Plugins.

Should I split the discussion how much a vote is worth to AD?
Otherwise we should stay on topic (which includes me).
