Hi there,
I have a general question. Is it normal that after Firefox updates all username and password fields are empty. So I have type in all again. Well, at least the first letter to recall the password. Or is there any way to change this? Since updates are frequent I find it a bit disturbing.
Regards
DC

Re: Update
AFAIK ... that is not normal. So I guess I have to ask this... how long has this been going on?
And, what I'm reading above is that you have not lost your passwords out of the profile but how it handles user names and passwords seems to change with every update? Do you have to enter the user name all the time?
Do you have any extensions in your profile that deal with security ... like passwords?

Re: Update
Everytime there is a new release, Password and Username fields are emtpy. So yes I have to enter them again.

Re: Update
Just to clarify something here... the entry fields at a site is your problem? ... or, is it that in Options/Security/ and Saved logins... are they missing from that section?

Re: Update
Thanks for the link.
But the question was, if it is a normal behaviour that after an update, all the password and username fields stay empty even they are saved in FF.
Any other suggestion?

Wellll... based on your exact question... the answer is no.
...and, do you have a couple of sites that you are talking about?

Re: Update
Today it happened again. All username fields stay empty.
Sites are i.e. Facebook, gmail, avsforum.com, hifi-forum and so on. Simply everything. But everything will be remembered with 1 click or letter.
Didn't try to uninstall the pwexporter. Will do today.
I didn't mention this, but recently I had to reset FF to default cos I could enter the website of CC Company. Don't know exactly but it less than 6 weeks.
PWExporter is now uninstalled.
