tabs overlapping (Mac)
I am running Firefox 53.0.3 on OS X El Capitan. Latest upgrades of Firefox have changed the length of tab texts. The tab texts are now so long, the multiple tabs now overlap and a single tab text can only be read by clicking on it to open that tab. This creates a mess on the tab bar. Hoping for help.

Re: tabs overlapping (Mac)
Though I'm on Windows I just opened up 15 tabs in my Test profile... they do shorten up (text) to make room 'but' they don't 'overlap'. Can you post a screen-shot of what you get...please....the multiple tabs now overlap
See: Posting_a_screenshot_on_the_forum.

Use a compressed image format like .png or .jpg and please do not post large images that break the forum layout, use thumbnails instead or only post a link.
If you need a place to host a screenshot... Note the "Uploading for general use" section of the document.

If you are using CTR there are a number of settigs that style and size tab width.. dont know if that is your problem or the solution
I use a fixed width and that does job well using CTR

.
I am also running Firefox 53.0.3 on OS X (but Sierra). The tabs don't overlap; they simply compress so they are all visible when you have a large number. As dfoulkes suggested a screenshot would be helpful to let you know if what you are seeing is normal.

Hi,
Reduce the image to around 600 x 500 or so in your favourite image editor, (Be sure to remove any personal info.)
& upload them to eg: > Photobucket or your favourite image hosting site.

> https://pastebin.com/ (A good site for those very long codes.)
(I use Photobucket....so...)
In photobucket...
Open the image by clicking on it.
On the RHS, there are a few options. "Links to share this photo."
Choose the [img] link at the bottom & it will be copied to the clipboard.
Paste that link in here.
