Re: Brightcove player does not work in Firefox
Not ad blocking, but Xmarks. When I disable Xmarks the video will play via Brightcove player. I completely removed Firefox and then reinstalled and player worked until I added Xmarks. I first added AdblockPlus and the player worked. Next I added Xmarks and then the player would not work. Now, I have had Xmarks for years and had no issues. So who do I contact next. I could disable Xmarks and enable it only to update my bookmarks.

AFAICT Xmarks is not e10's compatible, IF you have Multiprocess Enabled > Help Menu > Troubleshooting Information > Application Basics/Multiprocess Windows, it's probably broken.chzuck wrote:I have had Xmarks for years and had no issues.

Thanks, very bizarre.chzuck wrote:When I disable Xmarks the video will play via Brightcove player.
Mind you, I recall when they put the Lightning extension (it's a calender thing for the Email side) on SeaMonkey by default... and the the comments section on a major media news site would then not show!
Never have guessed Xmarks there, most odd.

I was mistaken, that only seemed to work once. If I disable adblockplus on the NASCAR page the video will play.Frank Lion wrote:Thanks, very bizarre.chzuck wrote:When I disable Xmarks the video will play via Brightcove player.

Re: Brightcove player does not work in Firefox
OK, worth checking... that eliminates FX Multiprocess/Extension compatibility problems.

My work around will be to disable adblock on that page. That sucks because now I have to view their commercial before the video clip! I am not liking Brightcove Player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
