Firefox updated this morning to v55.0.2 and now when I go to use a saved login, nothing comes up. It looks like my saved info is gone but when I go to "Privacy" it's set to remember history and under "security", Remember logins is selected and I see all my remembered logins when I click "Saved Logins".
How can I restore this feature. I manage an LMS for a large school and this feature is a necessity.
Firefox will not display Logins any more

Re: Firefox will not display Logins any more
Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
If no improvement using Safe Mode, do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

Re: Firefox will not display Logins any more
Since Firefox 55.0.2 was released last night, more of these reports came in. Hope it's just a coincidence and not another glitch.
You're not in permanent private mode, by any chance ?
Would you (just to make sure) check this : Privacy => under 'History' choose 'Use custom settings for history' and make sure that 'Always use private browsing mode' is UNchecked.

If I start in Safe Mode, the remembered logins return. I have not added anything to FF, just updated the version today.DanRaisch wrote:Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

Re: Firefox will not display Logins any more
And a previously installed extension may not be compatible with the update.
Try disabling all extensions but one and then close and restart the program. (Disable them by using menu path Tools->Addons->Extensions->click on "Disable" for every extension but one.) See if the problem is present. If not, enable an additional extension and close and restart the application. Repeat this procedure until the problem reappears. The last enabled extension will be the cause of the problem.

Yeah, that was it. Even though the previously installed extension claims compatibility with this version. Thanks!

Hi,
It may help others if we all knew exactly which extension was the culprit.
Thanks.
