Are you speaking of TLDs?
Public Suffix List

Where in FF, don't know offhand?
Does a grep turn up anything?

What?
No! Sorry my bad english but is not what I want.
So I filled in all topsites tiles with my favorite websites and this was kind of boring because is not that drag/drop thing like was before. But now I have to format my system and I don't want to do all again. I was wondering where these definitions are stored so I could save this file before format the system.
I think is in somewhere in ~/.mozilla/???

Changes made manually on the about:newtab page are stored in prefs that you can find on the about:config page.
browser.newtabpage.pinned stores websites that you have pinned to a tile.
browser.newtabpage.blocked stores websites that you have removed by clicking the X button in a tile.
