How do we display the Download Properties box in FF69 during a download? Not the Ctrl-J window but the window for each individual file.
I'd post a pic but there's no way to attach one.

The instructions that TheVisitor points to don't deal with a how you get the editing interface in mozillaZine forums to actually show the buttons you need to use get your pic into your post. For some clarification of how to do this see this post: viewtopic.php?p=14830331#p14830331

The instructions the visitor gave cover everything you just have to read it properly

I can't find the "Download Properties" string in the source in an older version.

Maybe you are thinking of an addon?

Oh, I know the convoluted way of uploading pictures to a site (none of which I am a member) and grabbing the url and finagling it into a post. Like on Bugzilla, I wanted to simply add an attachment. Although the post after BuddhaNature's link by Frank Lion did the trick. It's almost as easy.

Anyway, here's the window:

And no, I'm not thinking of an addon. It's a standard window I've seen for years (assuming my memory isn't flaky). It's always shows in SeaMonkey. Used to show in FFox.

In about:config is it the "browser.download.panel.shown" setting? Which is already set to true?

I think the download progress dialog got removed in Firefox 4.

Firefox 3.6
http://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla1.9.2/search?q=file%3ArogressDialog

Firefox 4
http://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla2.0/search?q=file%3ArogressDialog

SeaMonkey Release
http://dxr.mozilla.org/comm-release/search?q=file%3ArogressDialog

The browser.download.panel.shown pref is not what you want.

Addon not acceptable. Addons work for 3 versions then they break them. Now I remember why I left FFox initially. Gonna give it a try anyway, though they've removed all the useful features for no apparent (explained) reason.
