User Help for Mozilla Firefox

Firefox is my primary browser on a Lenovo laptop with Windows 10 Home, 64-bit. But, when I select an article to read if it has a picture the picture is either slow to load or doesn't load at all. Recently there was an article saying can you see the rattlesnake? Well since the picture wouldn't load I had to use my Chrome Browser to see it. Does anyone know why this is? I am seriously considering making Chrome my primary browser because of this. I will appreciate all replies and would thank you in advance.
Please identify one of the sites where you experience this so we can see how it works on our systems,
Does the same thing happen if you launch the application in Mozilla Trouble Shooting Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/di ... shoot-mode
What security software are you running on that system?
When I load Firefox I can select any article it doesn't make any difference. The article will load but the gray areas where the pictures should be does not load. I have tried the Mozilla Trouble Shooting Mode, it makes no difference. I am running the ESET security software on my system. Thanks very much for replying.
It would be helpful for us to actually test one or more of the sites on which you are seeing this issue. It's rather hard to evaluate a situation when we have no more information on it that "the pictures don't load."
I just now went to Firefox and when the articles loaded I clicked on Ryder Cup golfer 'groped air stewardess and urinated on seats' after 'partying' in First Class. https://www.yahoo.com/news/ryder-cup-go ... 32056.html. While the story is there I see two gray areas where pictures should be but are not. Hope this helps.
No problem at all viewing the images on that site using Firefox 94.0.2 under Win 10.
If no improvement using Troubleshooting Mode, do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

I just tried it and saw the same thing you did. The top photo loaded fine, but the following two were grey boxes with no photo. I also have the same problem on other sites such as Yahoo news.
On a hunch, I disable my adblocker (UBlock Origin) and reloaded the page. No grey boxes. All of the photos displayed.
To double check, I cleared my history (which is set to clear everything), re-enabled Ublock Origin, and reloaded the page. Back with the grey boxes.
If you're using Ublock--or similar--that may be the cause.
I do have Adblock Plus and have had it for years with no problems. Will disable it and see if it makes any difference. I am glad that you saw the same grey boxes I was seeing. Again, thank you very much.
No grey boxes here and uBlock Origin is enabled.
I disabled AdBlock Plus and while I did see some speed in the pictures loading, today the grey boxes are back. Surely it isn't something Microsoft caused, right?
