Can't enter text in Firefox, but can in Edge?
There are times when I can not enter text (or get their buttons to respond) in the fields of some net sites on Firefox (long time default browser), but can when switching to Edge. Unfortunately, I can't give you an example because the two newest examples require my PW. I guess there may be many reasons, but would appreciate a few hints. Thanks.

Are you running an add-on like NoScript or uBlock? Ever more websites these days require scripts to do the simplest things, and may need another domain to be allowed/trusted as well, found by trial and error. This is nearly always the answer when I experience such glitches.

firefox''s "enhanced tracking protection" also can cause problems. you could try disabling all of its blocking except for blocking third-party cookies.
on rare occasions, blocking third-party cookies can cause problems. i recently figured out that it causes problems with using "google drive." you can adjust firefox's settings for that particular webpage, allowing third-party cookies for it, to work around the problem.

You can possibly check in the inspector what element gets selected if you right-click in the field.

Probably some of my "blocking" apps. Will have to check them out next week. Thanks for the tips.
