![]() Does the same thing occur if you launch the application in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
Yes, the flicker also happens in safe mode.
It only lasts a very small fraction of a second. Most noticeable when on some news site like CNN, ABCNEWS, NBCNEWS. It seems to be repainting the website page (or parts) when it happens. Have never seen this happen before. Sean97,
I am experiencing the same issue - worse, a lot of sites now seem "fuzzy". I noticed the page reloading over and over again, looking at the reload icon, which seems to never just stop on these sites. Been through the usual diagnostics, and yes, it happens in safe mode. This just started after the update to 107 yesterday. tpaulr:
I'm not seeing any fuzziness, but the flicker seems to happen mostly with pages that have embedded video; like the news websites I follow. Flicker first noted with FF 107.0 also exists with FF 107.0.1 in normal and safe mode.
@tpaulr, what graphics on your end?
And URLs where you see the issue? Fire 750, bring back 250.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 Pinball CopyURL+ FetchTextURL FlashGot NoScript I have an NVIDIA GeForce, early GTX series...
It started on Reddit, then Shorpy.com, Oil Price.com, Business Insider.com, so many others with a lot of heavy video pages. I don't see much flicker any more, if at all. What I do have now is so much trouble playing videos. You Tube is a mess, many of the sites I had flicker issues with have video playback issues now. Reddit, especially. Does that help?
Have a link to a Reddit video that you have trouble with ? No flicker here even at full-screen. Pretty low res at 240p, but did not notice anything here. Latest Nightly here on win11 22h2, HD630 graphic chip on i5 10400 cpu. tpaulr:
No flicker, no problem watching that video, no problem scrolling through that website. I'm having video issues with the last 3 or 4 releases of FF.
I've done all the diagnostics and I tried a new profile - same thing, video issues. try to make sure that your video drivers are up-to-date.
