download 'open with'pop up window size

Post by flitox »

Hello,

since a couple releases now this pop up do not behave like it used to. now the full name of the file is shown, which mean that when it is quite long, the window is getting wider than it used to. this also cause another thing, it keep changing the place it is poping up since it seems to remember the place of the top left corner when a new one is pop up. (which mean if i want to have it poping up in the bottom right corner, it keeps moving to the left).

any paramater that can be changed to set it like it used to, this mean only showing the end of the name of the file when its size is bigger than the pop up window size??

thnaks!

didn't see that thread, have been looking for someone complaining about that in the last couple days.

seems to be the same problem except that for me when the name of the file was short enough, the box always had it normal size (not like the one we can see in the other thread)

but now i'm seeing a bug has been filled for this
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1802264

so i supposed a fix should come soon

I'm not sure that is the issue?

At least with the torrent here, https://instant.io/#150af2581d53dd64ad7 ... 37a8a6f8cb, I get a normal sized dialog box (on my end at least - Win7, FF 107).

NOTE/WARNING:
"[Download .torrent]" is what you should click
instant.io does need to have JavaScript allowed
I know nothing of that site
I did see high CPU & a strange request from Windows Firewall (which I did NOT allow)
The "torrent file" is nothing but an empty text file, so that is fine, should you download it.
The file is named:
"big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck-bunny-big-buck.txt"
Fire 750, bring back 250.
