Does the same thing happen if you launch the program in Mozilla Troubleshooting mode?

Try testing with hardware acceleration disabled.

I tried both modes, none of them worked.

label for en-US build: "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above"
That's the browser.display.use_document_fonts preference. Defines whether the browser uses the fonts specified in the web page for display.

if I leave it checked, the fonts of some pages are in gray, which is terrible for reading, unchecking there at least everything is black as it should be and it is, but it may also not use the correct font that the page actually uses but better wrong font in black than font right in gray hehehmorat wrote:label for en-US build: "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above"

the strangest thing that in windows 10 1809 LTSC newer than 1607 LTSB this does not happen, the last option is marked there and the fonts are normal black, what kind of bug is this in relation to windows 1607?
maybe pass this info on to mozilla to fix this in future versions

You may want to check whether graphics card or chipset driver updates are available for your system.

The appearance of a website could adjust to match the color scheme of your operating system.
It may not be a bug, but a difference in settings between the two computers.

What font is used if you check this in the Fonts tab in the right panel in the Inspector?

OK, thanks for noticing. I did recently updated some of my MDN links to firefox-source-docs links and most stay the same, but this one didn't. I had the correct edit-fonts link in one case, but missed it elsewhere where I still had view-fonts.
