I have a gmail account. Recently, I have been unable to load the gmail account standard view. I have to view the HTML view, which sucks. I also have a problem with Google calendar. That comes up all jumbled. And google maps, I can't load all kinds of features and can't move the map w/ that little hand thing. I haven't checked out my google docs or any other related google stuff. Everything loads just fine in Safari and Chrome. My other computers on the home network are fine w/ loading the standard view as well as calendar and maps. It is somehow related to this, my primary machine. I cleared all cookies, rebooted and did it in all kinds of combos. I have Mozilla version 3.0.1.0. I have been working on getting this issue resolved for a while and pretty good w/ PCs. But, I have hit a wall on this one. Don't know if the kids did something or wife. But, regardless, I can't load standard view and HTML just doesn't do it for me.

Make sure Javascript is enabled - it probably is, but worth the check.

Also, go to Help > About

What version is displayed in the about dialog?

Mine stopped, too: WinXP, Firefox 3.0.10. I can use Basic HTML view, but Standard view never displays. Gmail works in IE 7

Clear your cache. Tools --> Options --> Advanced --> Network, Clear Now button.

If you are still having problems delete any cookies that have to do with the site. Tools --> Options --> Privacy, Show Cookies button

If you are not using Windows see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Menu_differen ... x,_and_Mac

I confirmed the problem above, a few minutes ago. Then I found that Google Maps did not display. I disabled the Firefox Minimap addon 0.3.12 that I had recently installed. This fixed the problem for both Maps and gmail.

Was having the same issue. Clearing the cache as LoudNoise suggested fixed the problem for me.

When I had this problem, I used the address https://mail.google.com rather than just the "http:" beginning. For some reason the secure version worked fine. Changed my bookmarks.
