I have not been able to get Firefox to open for over a week. Today I deleted Firefox and all the files I could find, and downloaded it again, but on instillation I get a message saying "Firefox must be closed to proceed with instillation Please close Firefox to continue." What can I say? There is nothing I know of remaining to close. I have been mostly using Flock, which seems to be built on the Mozilla browser, but it is closed and I was using Safari to download Firefox.
I admit to knowing next to nothing about computers, and have not found anything in this e-forum's files that seems to solve my problem. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Salve, Dan.
It's great to have Firefox working again. Flock, that I was using as an alternative, is similar in many ways, but I really like Firefox much better.
Thanks.
