Pandora will not work in Firefox

I'm getting the same problem but with Chrome. The boarder of the player appears but nothing else and the rest of the pandora site works fine.

Hey I was having the same problem in Chrome and I tried everything and nothing worked. Then I signed my self out of pandora and signed back in and then pandora started to work. I don't really know how to explain why signing out worked but give it a shot. It might work for firefox as well.

I had this problem after upgrading to FF 3.5. Found out ABP was blocking the flash player that delivers the music. Whitelisted http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shoc ... andora.com and it is working now.

I run win xp and i get the "white box" on all browsers: chrome, firefox, ie

I had the same issue. I disabled javascript in the browser (Tools, options), closed firefox, restarted firefox, launched Pandora and it worked. However, when it comes back up it plays music just fine, and I can thumb up or down songs, it just doesnt do all the cool stuff it used to down below....like go to the lyrics page and allow me to learn more about the song.

Dang, FeatureLoader is from Facebook. I removed the Pandora Facebook app, and I no longer get the error. However, I still don't get music.

Ok, here's how I got it working again. In my case, the problem was a freeware flashplayer module that was loaded by Ubuntu 9.10 when I upgraded.

Check which Flash player(s) you have, using the about:plugins URL in Firefox.

Mine indicated that there were two additional plugins (other than libflashplayer 10) that thought they could play Flash content. Both were listed before libflashplayer.

My solution was to remove them both, allowing libflashplayer

sudo aptitude remove gnash swfdec-mozilla

Normal Caveats: This worked for me. It might not for you. Don't blame me.

go to the blank screen on the pandora home page... go to the bottom click about pandora... then sign in on the new page and then a security warning should pop up, accept this and it should work.... this worked for me!
