Hi

Firefox is forgetting stuff! Kind of. My home page is "NetVibes", where I am signed in, and whenever I turn on my PC and start up Firefox, there is my personalised page. Also, for example, I am permanently signed in to the forum of Webuser, so whenever I visit the site, I'm already logged in.

However today, with no apparent reason, Firefox has started to forget all this when you close it down. I've checked in the options, and all the saved sign-ins and passwords are still there, and whenever I click "sign in" on Netvibes or the above mentioned forum, the details pop up, but if I close Firefox and re-open in, I'm signed out of everything again. As far as I know, no alterations have been made to any settings, so any ideas what is causing this?

Thanks

Sometimes the cookies.sqlite file can get corrupted. If this happens, sites will log out frequently. To fix, go to your profile folder and rename cookies.sqlite (while Firefox is not running) to cookbak.sqbak. When you restart, all cookies will be lost but when they are re-created (after you log in one more time) it should "stick" and remember.
