For some unknown reason Firefox is blocking my attempts to sign onto my yahoo page a lot lately, I'm getting this message: "The browser you're using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected)" whenever i try to sign unto Firefox . Until this started happening, i never had problem with it. Strangely enough, IE works just fine.

Can someone explain to me what's going on?

Clear your cache. Tools --> Options --> Advanced --> Network, Clear Now button.

If you are still having problems delete any cookies that have to do with the site. Tools --> Options --> Privacy, Show Cookies button

I did as you asked. Its still rejected my sign in.

Are you certain you have deleted all of the yahoo cookies?

If you are certain, click on Tools --> Options --> Privacy, exceptions button. Make sure that you are allowing Yahoo cookies.

Then most likely you don't have any. Let's put that aside for a bit. Try a new profile. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Creating_a_ne ... on_Windows Don't add anything to it yet. I am trying to get you as close to a clean version of Firefox as possible.
