Re: how to suppress "redirect notice"?
Back on this issue I'm experiencing that same thing, but it seems only with FF (3.3.6). If I google "c# abtract class", the very first result is a msdn page, on IE6 it loads directly but on FF it shows the redirect notice. How about that...

howdy snupo,
you might wanna make a new thread for this. my original problem was very definitely caused by [thankfully temporary] things on the google side of things.
take care,
lee

Bluefang the .com version doesnt do it, at least for me, the .co.uk will. for example your search:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sour ... =&gs_rfai=
Works fine, but:
http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&source=h ... a4b4ffde8d
this should cause it to request.

Re: how to suppress "redirect notice"?
You're right, and I also see it if I do a search through the actual http://www.google.com homepage.
But as I already said, that's a problem/feature on Google's end and has nothing to do with Firefox or your computer.
There are GreaseMonkey scripts to disable it (have not tried any):

There have always been ghosts in the machine... random segments of code that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity, and even the nature of what we might call the soul...

Re: how to suppress "redirect notice"?
This is a Google problem that arises periodically.
I track my visitors and the ones coming from a Google search are getting this redirect notice. It is very annoying and will only result in more users abandoning Google if they do not fix this issue.
It seems to happen every few months and then goes away or is fixed until Google makes some new changes to their search criteria or algorithms.
Whatever is causing this is not good for Google and they should be on top of it as soon as it happens not allow it to go on for weeks on end. It has been happening for almost to weeks according to what I can see.
