Hi all,

I am having some very very strange issues with an SSL certificate that I am testing for my website. I am running Windows Server 2008 R2 and IIS7.5 on the server, with an SSL certificate issued by Geotrust's Wildcard SSL product. In every other browser the website displays without issue; however, in Firefox I receive:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to

security library failure.

(Error code: sec_error_library_failure)

* The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

* Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.

I receive no other information and have no way to debug why it doesn't work. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Opera, etc. all work fine, but Firefox just won't open the site.

I have no idea what to do, as Firefox won't give me any more information on why it failed.

What should I do next?

Hello everyone,

over 9 years later- I get this error for my website as well.
Every other Browser works just fine.
Everyone claims that resetting Firefox will help... but it does not.

Can anyone help? Please?
(Consider how desperate someone must be to reply to 9 year old posts)

Thanks for reading
