SpoofStick 1.04, Helps users detect fake websites

Though it is a little obnoxious in how much room it takes up one can hide the toolbar until surfing to sites that ask for User Name, etc.

the /. article says spoofstick is also fooled. Or at least it shows the url with its non-english characters like it was designed to do - pаypal instead of paypal. (Depending on your font setup you can see the difference between them) Maybe spoofstick should have the IDN on or off option instead of mozilla. Surely international users need international URLs on by default.
Or maybe it should prompt to show utf8 only for secure sites.

the slashdot article also says that the true url is showed in the title bar during a view source. How does it do this?

Yes, and non-international users need non-international URLs on by default.

Indeed Spoofstick does not work but source shows the correct domain.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.

Solution is on Page 2 by BeesTea. Very easy/quick to apply the fix. And it works.
