I'm running Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 on an XP system with SP2 installed and I am suddenly, as in it started last night, experiencing a crash every time I go to ESPN.com. This is the only site at which this seems to happen and it doesn't appear to matter if I go there first or after I've been online for a while. Either way, as soon as the page is mostly loaded, I get an error message and Firefox crashes. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I too was getting the crashes this morning. I had Flashblock installed and ESPN was in my ignore list to autoload the flash content on their page since they use it for everything. I took them out of my allow list and ESPN is now loading just fine so it must be one of the flash objects on their frontpage causing the problem. My .02...
I just tried ESPN and it works correctly for me. I'm running 1.0 and windows98. Something I have found tho, is that Firefox is a bit fussy about video drivers. I had a couple sites crash and could repeat that everytime until I updated my ATI video drivers. Maybe make sure your drivers are the lastest available.
