Not sure I should add this here, but I am :). I was curious and I looked at the setting for FF 10.0 and I noticed mine was set to a default value of 256 (network.http.max-connections). I thought in FF8 or FF9 it was changed back down to 48. Does it now start at 256 and adjust itself down if needed? Just wondered. Only reason I looked was because one site was just spinning its wheels forever sometimes; otherwise, no problems. Probably just an issue with that one site.

It should have, but if you've ever played with that setting it might have been avoiding changing it.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

They change it down to 48 because some sites would cause the tab "spinning its wheels forever" problem, since for most changing it to 30-48 made that problem go away. Apparently the problem was solved or fixed so Mozilla restored it back to 256 likes it was on Fx 6&7, but for me I still see the tab "spinning its wheels forever" problem occasionally happen on Fx 10, so I have reverted it back to 48. I'm waiting to see if any others still are reporting the problem on Fx 10 before I file another bug regarding the tab "spinning its wheels forever" problem.
