Possible fix for Fx stops loading pages + high CPU

Re: Possible fix for Fx stops loading pages + high CPU
I am concerned that people are changing there own about:config setting back to 30 but not enough are helping test the fix for future versions which will auto-adjust the connections setting as needed. If your problem was fixed by reducing network.http.max-connections to 30 or 48 and you are a technical expert and can follow the rules of bugzilla, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=692260 for discussion and testing of the patch to fix this problem for the future.

They are specifically looking for people who have this problem, and are willing to try a patched version.

They need folks willing to test the fix. If you want to help make sure it is fixed in future versions get a bugzilla account and ask how to help in the bug.

How so when it happens on a page where nothing flash is on there? I've had the problem since FF6..... only way to solve it was to go back to FF5...... I cant be bothered anymore. We are putting up with it despite being told the problem unless millions have it, does not exist.

Re: Possible fix for Fx stops loading pages + high CPU
If you have an issue with Flash, then that's a different problem, not a bold red same problem. But guest posters giving off-topic advice is par for the course I guess. If you are having high CPU usage not related to Flash or fixed by the OP suggested fix, then that again is a different problem. Also, hijacking several different threads to make the same complaint doesn't help anyone, including yourself.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

what happened with good o'l "user.js" ? I recognize it in profile folder, but that one wasn't self-created back then?
it must be created by user and to put lots of 'rubbish' to test for himself regarding his ISP connection

changing to 31 has def worked for me and not had a freeze in over a week now
It worked for me like the others who are reporting success .

As I answered the person who posted the change to 31, the previous default was actually 30.
