I'm using 64 bit Firefox 8.0 on Kubuntu 11.10. Long story short, there was a stack overflow and the unresponsive script came up. I checked the box that says not to ask me again and told it to stop the script. I make it start asking me again because without that script a particular java applet won't load (at least that's the theory). How can I undo what I did with the script? Is there a file I can delete or something?

Type about:config into urlbar and press go, then a be careful warning appears select OK, then do a filter search: dom.max_script_run_time; 'Reset it to it's default setting' by right clicking it and selecting the option to 'Reset', then restart browser.
