I too had the widdit (wibbit sounds better, even frog-like) problem. I removed COMPLITLY and wibbit has gorn. My browsing speeds have improved dramatically.

Re: Widdit.com??
Hi there,
Our service is built to load asynchronously and only once the page has been fully loaded, to make sure load times are not affected. So even if you're seeing the "loading.." prompt, this still doesn't delay your browsing.
However, if you're still looking to disable the service, we’ve made it easy with detailed instructions on our support page at:
http://widdit.com/howtoremove.aspx
We’re also always interested in your comments and suggestions, which you can submit through the following address:
support { at } widdit.com
Thanks!

Re: Widdit.com??
Hey guys,
First of all, you can rest assure as Widdit is actually a very legit addon and not a negative one. It is a tool that embeds the autosuggest feature to into any site you’re searching in.
In order to give relevant suggestions, the program is constantly updating online with relevant information from the company maintaining the service (Widdit)- that’s why you’re seeing "loading widdit.com" all the time. I actually use this tool often and find it very helpful.
For whoever’s interested in removing it, I ran a quick search and found they’ve put up a link explaining how to do so -http://www.widdit.com/howtoremovewiddit
Hope this helps,
Andy

Re: Widdit.com??
For me Avast blocks it, does not recognise the certificate. Now I know what it is I may let it operate.
