No. Manually removing those programs listed as containing malware would though.

They are installed in Windows not Firefox. Use your Add Remove Programs in windows control panel or go to Microsoft or Malwarebytes for advice.

In all the years of using a computer I've never been invaded but malware/viruses...
1. I would suggest that you Dump Spybot and anything having to do with it... just my opinion... though I tried it for a short time but it became a big hassle.
2. I don't know what Firewall/AV products you use but I use the Win7 firewall and Avast (free)
http://www.avast.com/index
3. I also use this extension when browsing to help inform me of past-problem sites...though Avast also has the same type of thing.
WOT - Safe Surfing :: Add-ons for Firefox
4. I'm also very careful on which sites I visit and especially clicking unknown buttons.
5. I also use this extensions to stop scripts from running on my computer... some sites invade your system by running scripts and I only allow know-vendor sites to run...
NoScript :: Add-ons for Firefox
I also use this extension to stop most ads from running... bad stuff can also be lurking within some of them...
Adblock Plus :: Add-ons for Firefox
Also... recommended filter sets... The Official EasyList Website
Plus, you might want this....
Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus :: Add-ons for Firefox
In addition to running Malwarebytes from time to time I also do the same with this free app... not all tools will catch all bad-things...
