ASPX Pages not loading in Firefox

Post by aforrester »

For some reason, aspx pages will not load in Firefox for me, but will do fine in IE.... am I missing a plugin?

for example.... https://www.drugassistant.com/daweb/DEFAULT.ASPX

I received the following script warning:
Warning: Non-standard document.all property was used. Use W3C standard document.getElementById() instead.
Source File: https://www.drugassistant.com/daweb/DEFAULT.ASPX
Line: 45
and an error message when I pasted the thread into FF.

See: http://toponcefamily.com/blogs/aaron/ar ... 0/413.aspx
where it states correctly,
"...Microsoft servers will sniff out what browser you are running to view the page. Because of this, many pages are not even viewable without using IE..."

I pasted your link into IE. My config alerted it was a secure connection, which I allowed, and was able to view the site.

I had the same problem. Reading the sticky thread "Fx 1.0.2 - Installation Guidelines and post-Install Problems" solved it... Previous versions need to be uninstalled before installing 1.0.2. I uninstalled 1.0.2 , reinstalled it, copied the backup files from the profile and all is well!

Forgot to mention, there is an extension but I'm not sure it's compatible with 1.0.2. yet: http://ieview.mozdev.org/
