Trough searching the forum i found a registry key to disable the install of the Maintenance Service when user upgrades their firefox.
But how to install a clean version silently without the named service?
Mainly i want to know if there's some undocumented switch for it. I do not want to use hacks or to recompile the installer.
If there is not then maybe there's already an enchanment bug on bugzilla for this?
And if not then i might create one.
EDIT: Perhaps this?: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=741174

You can opt out. Info here > https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/wh ... ce-service
[edit] It is a Windows Service that can be disabled like any other service. If already installed can be uninstalled in Windows Control Panel Add Remove programs

Yes this is the GUI method and it is post install. What i want is silent and during the main firefox install. I cant be bothered running post install cleanup scripts for firefox..
