Re: FireFox unable to download YouTube videos
I am also having the same issue. I have Firefox 15.0.1 and it worked yesterday and stopped today. The videos will download with an external application so it can be downloaded.
It seems that Youtube changed something that made DownloadHelper break.
Any other ideas as creating a new profile is not something I should need as there has been no changes to my version since it stopped working.

Downloadhelper updates often to get around blocks by youtube. In a short time there will likely be an update for it that will work. As mentioned just above, clearing cookies may help. Also, if you have realplayer try uninstalling it.

Re: FireFox unable to download YouTube videos
Hmm.. not working for me now. I get 0 bytes saved.
Ahh they are aware of the issue, go read: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... oadhelper/
Something changed on YouTube's site. A beta work-around version is available.
OK, Installed that version of DownloadHelper and now able to save videos from YouTube again with the latest version of Flash 11.4.402.265 installed

Re: FireFox unable to download YouTube videos
The problem is NOT Firefox - it is Video Specific. Some videos have been made undownloadable by YouTube. They give a 0 byte file result.
How are we to unscramble this - or bypass it - or whatever.
Who knows exactly what it is?
Can anyone help.
There are good long videos up there which could dissappear at any moment.
So we need to be able to find a way to download them.
