No IT ISN'T better same crashes as before.......

If i disable the flash plugin can the firefox 20.0.1 work fine at sites it has flash videos?

Being as this 'saga' thread's been going on for over six months and assuming you've read it from the beginning and tried everything suggested... Ask Adobe ?

And what exactly describe adobe that we must do to avoid all crashes?

Because for me i have firefox 20.0.1 i have javascript enabled....

Sites that depend on Flash will display as mostly empty if you disable the Flash plug-in. JavaScript has little or nothing to do with the Flash plugin itself. Adobe has not offered anything to help resolve the problem, other than the suggestions identified in the threads on these forums:

Disable hardware acceleration in Firefox
Disable hardware acceleration in Flash player
Disable Adobe's protected mode for Flash player
Uninstall Flash using the utility provided by Adobe on their Flash website
Install an older version of Flash

With right click on any flash video and simply uncheck the hardware acceleration at this new flash settings window?

Yes..That will disable HW acceleration in the Flash Player
and also disable HW acceleration in Firefox by going to Options > Advanced > General browsing section and Uncheck "use hardware acceleration when available"

I don't see anywhere the choise you describe.

At any flash video like youtube if i press right click in the video it bring me that menu


and neither of these two options(settings or global settings) has the option you suggest.

I've been looking for this topic for a while, although finding it I didn't want to read the whole history and I've read only the most recent page of posts (12).

I'm on the standard release channel and it upgraded me to 20.0 some time ago. I've always been wary of FF's hardware acceleration and I've had it turned off for a long time. Wasn't aware of Flash's hardware acceleration but figured out where it is just now.

I'm currently running v 11.7 of the Shockwave Flash plugin. Flash would hang 20.0 - for very long periods of time. F wouldn't crash and it would eventually return but FF was becoming unusable. On advice I read somewhere, I backed up to FF 18 and I no longer have problems with Flash hanging.

It's probably too much to ask but does anyone have some idea of what's going on between the latest FFs and latest Flash plugins?

The problem is (and has been for a time now) with the newer releases of Flash. You can find that explanation on the Adobe forums as well.
