I guess the "problem" ( if it really were a problem) is resolved,
looks like it's an XP problem, and it doesn't matter what browser your using.
Thanks

With all the BS turned off, it's not a problem.
OK... I was just wondering if you were in Firefox (safe-mode) and you were getting fast responses with it.
Just curious... defragged lately, cleaned out Recycle?, added memory?, checked your disk capacity? ...

As this is a Firefox forum, and the problem seems to be an XP problem,
i guess it's not a problem for this forum.
This is a 2.4 gig P-4 with 2 gig of ram, HD at about 85% ,
maybe it's time to move some stuff to my network drive.
Recycle cleaned about a week ago, could maybe use a defrag,
I'll do that after I off load 10 gig or so off the HD.
Thanks

In my old XP, 1gig of mem... and a 40gig drive... I never experienced what you're getting... so, your system should be strong enough as it stands... defraggs can make a world of diff... but, you 85% number is high... I would suspect that you should see a lot of disk i/o for simple procedures... and, that can cause a bunch of slowdowns etc.
