The image on the left could still be blocked: did you check that in
Tools > Options > Content : Load Images: Exceptions

OK, did what you said, and the web site has been allowed in preferences>content:load images. also with about:config I got this:
I also did tools>page info and started clicking around, but wasn't sure what to doo from there. but i did notice something interesting when I clicked on the sercurity section of page info:
Also unsure as to what to do, after control clicking on missing images and selecting page or selection source...
By the looks of it, the problem with MSN Spaces is deffinately a firefox issue (mac version that is, this problem doesn't sem to exist on firefox for windows, checked dad's laptop), I just checked with my Safari browser, and photos work perfectly, (well, as perfect as you're gonna get on a mac)
