I am having problems accessing websites, especially hotmail.com. I keep receiving the alert message "___ could not be found. Please check the name and try again." It is driving me crazy!! It usually pops up the first time i try to connect to a website but the second time is usually works (except hotmail - it hates me). I am running windows XP, using a netgear firewall, using AVG for virus protection. Could someone please let me know what is happening.

Try toggling your IPv6 settings:

1. go into about:config
2. go to the network.dns.disableIPv6 value and toggle it.
