I'm using Firefox 38.0.1 with WIN 8.1

I've applied jscher2000's changes and tested at:
https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html
weakdh.org
- all good

BUT the changes don't stick
New Window: no joy
Close all Windows, then new Window (both ordinary and "in Private"): no joy

.... hmmm

Have you closed and reopened FFox?

Change a different Pref & confirm that it remains changed after a restart.

so this unfixed security hole has been public since May 20, 2015 and since then Mozilla thought the most pressing matter is integration of Pocket App with Firefox. hmm...fascinating.

Thank you jscher2000 for the manual fix.
