Hi!
The problem is that if you open new windows or links from Thunderbird, the new windows cannot be merged in the right way.
There are two problems with it:
To simplify the problem I assign letter A to the window that got new tabs from the other window(s).
I assign letter B to the window(s) merged into the window A.
1. After merging the windows, the window B won't close.
2. The title of the created new tabs in window A is replaced by "New Tab".

Moving to Support.
Let me see if I have this straight
1) You open a link in Thunderbird
2) It open a New Firefox window and load the page there.
3) You try to drag the new window into the existing Firefox window as a new tab.
4) This doesn't work, the window started by TB freezes and does not move to the existing Firefox window.

Or it's enough to reproduce this bug if I open a new window from Firefox and then I start browsing there.
You try to drag the new window
No, I've always tried to avoid dragging anything because I don't want to have problems generated by accident.
I just right click on the window A and click on Merge Windows in the context menu.
the window started by TB freezes
No, not really. After clicking on Merge Windows, the Firefox leaves the window B opened and empties the content of that window, though window B works but a bit buggy because if you open new tabs in it, you cannot close them. Otherwise the content is merged to the original window A but without the original title on tabs. The new title on new tabs is changed to "New Tab", so you have to reload the page to get the right title.

I don't have Merge as a right click option. Does it exist in Firefox Safe Mode?
Help ---> Restart Firefox with add ons disabled.

I think it's because of Tab Mix Plus.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.
