You didn't mention anywhere in your post that you created a "new" profile and then checked to see if the problem persisted. It's possible you didn't delete everything in your profile folder (no matter how many times you deleted it) and reinstalling, thinking you were using a new profile, was actually not the case. Keep in mind - if you have more than one version in your add/remove programs, that could be generating problems too. Please don't be lazy about reading other threads using "Forum Links: Search" on the right hand side of this page, mozillazine search and the various help and trouble shooting sections.

Maybe once, depending on the problem(s), after other things have been tried and after the standard diagnostic has been done, but I've never seen anything, anywhere, anytime about installing, uninstalling and reinstalling over and over again, fixing ANY FX problem.
