Firefox 39 bug with form history - Gmail/Youtube?

Post by Necronomicon »

I don't know if this is happening to someone else, but here is my case.

At my home, I have FF 39. At work I have 38.0.1.
At home, only on Gmail/Youtube (same login page), with FF39 form history is not working. By that, I mean when you enter letter or press down on keyboard, there is a list of inputed user names (emails). On FF39 there is no list or anything. But, facebook or other pages that have input form it remembers.

At work, with 38.0.1 it works. I've upgraded to 39 at work and have same problem as at home. I reverted back to 38.0.1 at work, so I can have working form history,

Can anyone confirm this?

And if it is a bug, plase fix it.

Moving to Firefox Support as no bug has yet been confirmed here.

Have you reviewed the settings between the two installations to ensure that everything relating to form filling and history is set the same on both?

After update to 39 this thing occured. Haven't noticed from start, but after few logins (days) I've noticed it. I even unistalled FF (at home) with Revo, deleted manually all traces of FF (directories/files/registry), installed FF without any addons/extensions (except which are called upon by default) and I have same problem. But it only occurs with Google, not with other pages with fill in forms (user/pass). At work I just reinstalled back to 38.0.1 over 39 to revert back and it works with Google. That is why it's strange for me.
