options not accessable

Post by bgreenage »

recently updated from 37.0.2 to 41.0.1. I can only access options in safe mode. Is this a design or an error?

Looks like some extension issue. Try to diagnose which one by speedy "half-disable" method.

Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.

When things work properly in Safe Mode but not in Standard Mode it often indicates that an installed extension is causing problems. Try disabling half of the installed extensions close and restart the program. (Disable them by using menu path Tools->Addons->Extensions->click on "Disable".) See if the problem is present. If not, enable half the other extensions and close and restart the application. Repeat this procedure until the problem reappears. The last set of enabled extensions will include the cause of the problem. Disable all in that set and enable them one by one, closing and restarting the program to test.

Sounds like you are using an old Complete Theme that needs updating.
