disapear firefox when using Dolphin Supernova Magnifier

Post by nima000 »

hello.
I use Dolphin Supernova Magnifier software to magnify the screen. when i use firefox and click on some tabs to open the tab, firefox suddenly disappeared. firefox exists in Task Manager processes but no window displayed on screen.
This problem occurred on windows 7,8.1,10 and Supernova Magnifier 14 or 15.
I test firefox in safe mode and this problem exist yet. Also I disable hardware acceleration and problem isn't solved. I use a fast method to see the problem is solved or not. This method is : 1 run supernova screen magnifier 2 run firefox and open http://www.google.com in first tab 3 open a new tab "blank page" 4 if I click on first tab (google) and switch between two tabs several times then suddenly firefox window disappear.

This problem annoy me because sometimes I open many tabs and when I click on one of them firefox window disappear.
Thanks in advance.

Moving to Firefox Support.

Firefox does not claim to be compatible with Dolphin Supernova Magnifier. Have you checked with the maker of that software to see if they have an update or other solution to your problem?

Thanks. based your answers seems firefox is not completely supported by Dolphin supernova.

I try some test with old firefox versions to see this problem is exist on old version? the result shows here:
1- First I install Firefox 25 and the problem does not occurred.
2- Firefox 30 the problem doesn't occurred.
3- Firefox 35 the problem doesn't occurred.
4- Firefox 38 the problem occurred.
5- Firefox 37 the problem occurred.
6- Firefox 36 the problem doesn't occurred.

Based on this test we can conclude that the problem is occurred from FireFox 37 (and the problem remain to new version of firefox like firefox 42).
So, can everyone tell me the major changes between Firefox 36 and 37 ??

You might solve this by switching to Virtual Magnifying Glass, which I've used for many years and not found incompatibility with any other program.
