firefox restarting all the time

firefox restarting all the time

I noticed when I am working browser can close itself, do restarting and a few minutes back to normal again!

Moving to Firefox Support.

Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
If no improvement using Safe Mode, do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

I think I read the above correctly... and it sounds like Firefox is crashing and then recovers... I used to see that once in awhile...long ago...

You might want to type about:crashes into your location bar/enter...

...then copy/paste (to here) the top two links (right-click, copy link) for those crashes.
As you can see she's (The CAT) always alert and on the prowl for Meoware !!

If Firefox crashes, it usually displays a pop-up/message stating that it crashed, (The Crash Reporter), offers you to add a comment
& then, what sites to "re-load" on re-start.

Must be an improvement ... I guess... it's been years since this profile crashed and I don't remember getting anything other than it has crashed... I've also seen where it crashed with no message and I say crashed (it froze) ..but then it seems that Win7 recovered it... I don't remember all the details... age you know :lol:

All I can say is....it still displays the CR here in v20. ;)
