Hi,
The site appears to be down ATM....if that's what you mean?
So, try a little later?

Your post was a bit confusing. Are you trying to get rid of "windstream searchguide"?

.
I think the OP is trying to get rid of it. Windstream is an ISP. If I had to guess I would say this is a DNS issue where Windstream sends the OP to their search. If that is the case the OP can set up his own DNS like OpenDNS. For example, in my case my DNS setting are in the router on my network and I have them set for

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

which are the OpenDNS servers.

Did a little digging and it appears searchguide.net is actually an Akamai security thing they picked up when the bought Prolexic.
It may have been implemented by the ISP Windstrream. I also note the IP and subsequent subnet provided by "Look Up" appears to be inundated by porn providers.
There were two related IP subnets 72.52.4.0/24 and prolexic's 209.200.154.0/24
Unfortunately actyual identity may be a moot point since it appears cloud service of some type is involved.
It is supposed to be a security protective setup but every time I see something like serachguide it's a redirect to commercial interests.
